Forest

Today we finally made it back to our favourite forest walk. It’s been over a year and a half since we were last here and I have missed it so much!

It was raining which is obviously my favourite thing. Walking in the forest in the rain is just magical, the patter of raindrops in the trees, the smell of the damp leaves squelching underfoot, tiny jewels of rain sparkling on May blossom petals, and oh the greens! The moss, lichen, ferns and leaves bursting with life. It was absolutely glorious.
