Jeju Island Arrival 25th May

Got a cab to Busan Airport at 6.45. I had been awake since 5 so felt a bit ropey. Arrived in Jeju and picked our hire car up. It’s always fraught trying to drive out of a foreign airport in an unfamiliar car but this was especially difficult bc Korean road signs are very different to ours

We couldn’t check in until 3 but there was a MacDonalds just down the road. Why in the name of all that is holy is their chicken burger slathered in so. much. mustardy. goop?

The new apartment is lovely. It directly overlooks the sea and has a little balcony, which is nice. The kitchen is properly equipped so I already like it better than the place in Busan.
