Earring Week

It’s the last week of my 20 day challenge to release 20 pieces of jewellery into my Lampwork Jewels shop and this week it’s all about earrings.

It’s quite tricky to make two lampwork beads similar enough for earrings even using a press to help with dimensions. Add to that my perfectionist Virgo tendencies and all in all earrings have long been a trial for me. However I am finally beginning to see that earrings don’t have to match precisely. For a start most people can’t even see the teeny tiny differences I’m talking about and for another thing uniqueness is part of the beauty of handmade.
