Book Club Spring 2020

I don’t know if you know this but I’m a member of a book club, there are 7 of us, all women and it’s pretty much the most fun I have in my life. We don’t meet very often, maybe once every 2-3 months, sometimes longer, but it’s always an absolute hoot. Because there is such a big gap between meetings I usually struggle to remember the book, even the ones I actually read!

Last time it was Sues choice and she brought 3 books, eventually settling on Sebastian Faulks - Paris Echo. It was the shortest of the three, some of us (i.e. me) have commitment issues so it’s got a greater chance of being finished if it’s not an epic. I haven’t read any Sebastian Faulks books before so I’m venturing into uncharted territory.

I started it last night and it seems like an easy enough read but I was a bit distracted by agonising toothache, I’ll report back once I’ve finished it..
