Belated Friday Feature

This would have been my Friday Feature if I had remembered it yesterday! What I love about this bead is the way the flowers came out in soft focus. I tend to use white as a base for flowers precisely because it gives a nice crisp edge. Ivory on the other hand spreads like billyo and I love it for organic beads, not so much for flowers. However in this instance (and I still don't know how I did it) the ivory has not spread too much and given the flowers a  pretty, wispy finish and it looks fantastic with coral and blue. I also like that this bead has both silver dichroic and cubic zirconia but it is subtle and elegant, not in your face bling.
