Nearly there, only a couple of things left to do and I will be able to make beads again. Unfortunately the few things left to do all involve my husband and his trusty electric drill which would be OK as we are heading towards the weekend but he has his company conference and will not be at home, NOooooooo.I REALLY want to get back out over the weekend so I thought I would try and at least get it to the point where I can use the torch......and then I got distracted....I realised that everything I threw out of the shed is now in the garden, ooops. I put my goggles on (in case of flying shards of glass, not to look like a pillock) and started clearing up all the crap, 2 foot long stringers and ends of rod, broken beads, bits of the old fan, then I became aware that the garden had become completely overgrown. So this is what the neighbours saw at about 4.30 this afternoon...a be-goggled woman weeding in carpet slippers, in the mud, in the twighlight, in a fury!Weeding makes it sound quite tame, my gardening tends to be fairly brutal and is always bad tempered. I don't use pruning shears and a trowel, I use hedge trimmers and a saw. So weeding isn't just pulling up a few dandelions it's yanking out 6ft sections of killer passion flower using my entire body weight, and I ain't no lightweight. Ouch, I think I killed my back.
