Cuts, burns and temper all better and Mothers day has been fab. (thanks George) I haven't done a stroke of housework, but I have bought N-Js 18th birthday present (have I ever told you how much I love the internet), arranged a trip to my mothers next weekend and, most importantly, made some beads without causing myself grevious bodily harm - hooray! I have had the Cheetah hooked up since I got my generator and I realise I should be able to make small beads with it but no, invariably they end up the size of a golfballs. I hooked my Lynx back up today, what a little beauty that torch is. I love my Cheetah, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I just need to sit and churn out little bitty beads and that was exactly what I did today. I was surprised at how small the Lynx flame was but its pretty hot, I whistled through about 20 bracelet beads for the Hope Project and it was fun.I didn't realise I was locked into making big beads because I was using a big(ish) torch - well duh! I am feeling much more enthusiatic about tommorrow, there is something very stisfying about a kiln with some 20 odd mandrels poking out of it.
