Party and Beads
Hola, it's another gorgeous sunny day down here on the south coast. I could assail you with stories of all the wild shenanigans that have been going on but they would all be big fat dirty lies. Life is pretty much on an even keel and I so know I'm going to regret saying that! Last weekend George and I went to my Aunt and Uncles Golden Wedding Anniversary, 50 years together, that takes some stamina!. It was in the Tythe Barn on the Loseley Estate such a beautiful place and with so much history, I really hope we can get back to visit this summer. It was a wonderful party and I loved every minute of it, I am somewhat ashamed that my Aunt and Uncle only live only an hour or so away and yet we rarely meet up, I always have so much fun with them. I had planned to take lots of photos and make up a presentation for them as a present but I was not firing on all cylinders and managed to take my camera but not the battery - doh!
It was a sit down meal and the food was excellent, salmon to start, followed by chicken then a selection of desserts and cake too. I managed to restrain myself, fortunately I don't drink or we would have been walking home and I only had one small jelly which was possibly the most delicious thing I have ever eaten and in bright colours too. That is pretty much the only sugar that has passed my lips this last week and a half since I quit sugar so YAY me!
I have been trying to make more beads for my next trunk show on Facebook and I have been slowly putting new beads into my Lampwork Jewels Shop. i think there will be some completely different beads appearing here soon as I seem to be channeling pastel coloured spotty heart beads and raised florals... watch this space.
