I need a routine
I am trying to organise myself and devise a routine. One that maximises bead making time, takes into account my proclivity for sitting idly by with a cup of tea and also (but less importantly) do some housework. The trouble is I'm an all or nothing kind of girl (girl - LOL, in my dreams) so what happens is I end up sitting idly by with a cup of tea ruminating on the fact that I am neither making beads or (much less importantly) doing housework. It's not that I don't want to make beads it's more that it's frickin' COLD out there plus I am in that horrible place where I actually should be making beads for the Big Bead Show in March. You can guarantee that the minute I put a should into making beads my muse takes a hike to somewhere warm and I am left nursing a cup of tea contemplating doing some housework.
So my solution is to devise a routine. I suspect the trick is to actually get dressed and pretend I am going to work for 9 o'clock in the morning although reading that back it already sounds unlikely. If I have a time when I head to the shed every day and actually melt glass for a specified length of time every day surely I will make something worthwhile? Hmmm, I don't know... maybe I will have another cup of tea while I think about it some more.
